Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to information you send through the Dental Academy website, and what the site doesn’t collect. It covers the website only.

The short version
- The request form asks only for what we need to call you back.
- Your request is emailed to the office. The website doesn’t store it.
- We count visits with analytics that don’t use cookies.
- The site has no advertising, no tracking pixels, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
- Google’s map loads only if you choose to show it.
- We don’t sell your information.
What the request form collects, and why
The form asks for your name and phone number, so we can call you back. You can add an email address if you like. It also asks whether you’ve been to the office before, what the visit is for (from a short list), which days and times usually work for you, and an optional short note.
We use what you send only to contact you about your visit. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t use it for advertising.
The form doesn’t ask for your health history, your date of birth, insurance ID numbers, or any uploads. Please don’t include medical details in the note. Email isn’t the right place for health information, so the form asks for as little as it can.
If you’d rather not send your details online, you can always call the office instead.
How your request reaches the office
When you send the form, the website passes your request to Resend, an email service, which delivers it to the office’s email inbox. The website itself doesn’t keep a copy. There’s no database behind the form.
Resend keeps a copy of each message for a limited time (30 days under its current policy) so it can deliver the message and keep delivery records. The office uses your request to call you back and set up your visit.
Spam protection
To keep out automated spam, the request form may include a check from Cloudflare Turnstile. When it’s turned on, Cloudflare looks at information about your browser and device to tell a person from an automated program. Cloudflare says Turnstile doesn’t read what you type into the form. Its Turnstile privacy addendum (external site) explains what it collects.
Counting visits
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, made by Vercel, the company that hosts this site. They show us which pages people visit and how quickly pages load, so we can keep the site working well.
They don’t use cookies. Web Analytics tells visits apart with a temporary code made from each page request, and that code resets every day. So it can’t follow you from one day to the next, or from this site to other sites. Speed Insights records details like the page address, browser, type of device, connection speed, and country, but not who you are.
Our web host
Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it receives technical details whenever a page loads, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver the page and protect the site from attacks.
Maps and links to other sites
The maps on our home and contact pages come from Google. It doesn’t load until you select Show map. Once it loads, Google may collect information and set cookies, as described in Google’s privacy policy (external site).
The Get directions links open Google Maps or Apple Maps. Those services, and any other sites we link to, have their own privacy policies.
Cookies and tracking
The website itself doesn’t set cookies. It has no advertising pixels, no social media trackers, and no tools that record what you do on a page. We don’t sell or share your information for advertising.
The site stores one small note in your browser while the tab is open, so the drawing on the home page draws itself only once per visit. The note contains nothing about you.
Because nothing on the site tracks you across websites, it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This website is meant for adults. If you’re requesting a visit for a child, a parent or guardian should fill out the form. We don’t knowingly collect information through the website from children under 13.
Your health information
This policy covers the website. As a patient, your dental records and other health information are protected by federal privacy law. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how the practice may use and share that information, and your rights.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
Questions
If you have a question about this policy, or you’d like a request you sent deleted from the office’s email, contact the office.
